The time scale from booking the service appointment to the first available date was rather long. Due to the very large mileage I do it meant that I exceeded the service mileage by 1000 miles.
My car was taken to the Irvine branch to repair a fault on the Thursday evening. I was advised Monday morning early my car was ready. When picked up at 5pm it hadn't been washed, might sound petty but was disappointing.
First service of a new car and noted a bulge in front tyre wall

The servicing team have always provided us with excellent customer service. On this occasion, Michael in arranging our MOT and Service was fantastic throughout and made the whole process a pleasure and kept us very well informed.
The overall timely turnaround during the service was excellent, my only disappointment was that i was not contacted sooner prior to the service requirement window by BMW.
Agreed a reasonable price with service manager and no complaints regarding work done but to wait in excess of 3 hrs for an oil change service is ridiculous. I would have preferred arriving at 10 am and only waited an hour or so.

Communication throughout the time my car was in the garage was first class. I really appreciated the txt and email update and the free health check and video from the mechanic who worked on the car was brilliant!
Garage was very busy with booked in vehicles so it took two days for repair to be complete.
Despite the Centre being exceptionally busy on the day of my visit, the staff ensured I was not neglected and kept up to speed with the latest about how my repair was progressing and ensured I was comfortable during my wait.
I was made to feel welcome and valued and the facilities were appropriate to my needs. The only reason I don't issue a 5-star rating is that there remains, and to be fair I have seen this elsewhere too, a lack of pro-active engagement with the client

I forgot my car needed first MOT. Not only did Fairbairn squeeze me in at short notice did a brake fluid replacement at same time saving a further visit. First class!

It was called a service, however, it was an MOT the vehicle was in for.On the day, due to a heavy schedule, the vehicle was handed back washed and hovered, however, it was not of the high standard expected.
Everything went to plan as usual
Overall very good, only area for improvement is that the locking wheel nut utilised for brake service was left in the centre console and not returned to wherever the engineer first found it (I have no idea where it belongs)

Our car was returned to us very dirty and the mileage and time it took to be returned to our house didnt seem to add up ,we feel our car was used for a delivery or something else.We were not happy about this and phoned to Irvine to complain.

I don't blame Harry Fairbairn for the approach taken - I blame BMW.The overall experience at Harry Fairbairn was generally good. BMW's refusal to rectify the problem has, however, tainted my view.

Good service, some questions went unanswered eg we had enquired about a 1 series and larger fuel tank but never received an answer to this (plan had been to consider test drive of this as well as the X2)

When purchasing the car it was always on the belief that the car would be registered 1st March. Originally the delivery date was 5th March. A revised delivery date became available mid February and the sales rep wanted me to purchase the car then.
Sales person took his time to explain the new features in the model I was thinking of and arranged a demo car of the same type to get a feel of the new features.
