In early January car indicated it needed a serviceI booked it inDrove to Irvine...after 2 hours was toldCar did not need a service it was still on Manufacturinf software settingsCalled in April and got service date in May
Car was serviced within the agreed timescale and washed etc prop to collection.
Well trained staff who are both friendly and welcoming alll willing to do the extra Mile
Good service when I was in branch however it did take over 4 weeks from initial phone call till I got an appointment to get my car repaired. Faulty exhaust gas valve so car was not performing well and was sluggish.
I have been a customer of Fairbairns for 30yrs and never had a problem

From meeting with Fraser then John on the first day I was very impressed with their ability to make me feel welcome and they also wanted to sell me a car. some retailers did not give me that impression. next day follow up , meeting Mason was good.
Not had car 1 month and had to pay money to get car fixed.

The time scale from booking the service appointment to the first available date was rather long. Due to the very large mileage I do it meant that I exceeded the service mileage by 1000 miles.
My car was taken to the Irvine branch to repair a fault on the Thursday evening. I was advised Monday morning early my car was ready. When picked up at 5pm it hadn't been washed, might sound petty but was disappointing.
First service of a new car and noted a bulge in front tyre wall

The servicing team have always provided us with excellent customer service. On this occasion, Michael in arranging our MOT and Service was fantastic throughout and made the whole process a pleasure and kept us very well informed.
The overall timely turnaround during the service was excellent, my only disappointment was that i was not contacted sooner prior to the service requirement window by BMW.
Agreed a reasonable price with service manager and no complaints regarding work done but to wait in excess of 3 hrs for an oil change service is ridiculous. I would have preferred arriving at 10 am and only waited an hour or so.

Communication throughout the time my car was in the garage was first class. I really appreciated the txt and email update and the free health check and video from the mechanic who worked on the car was brilliant!
I was given convenient appointment time.Although slight delay in sourcing part I was kept informed at all times.

Despite the Centre being exceptionally busy on the day of my visit, the staff ensured I was not neglected and kept up to speed with the latest about how my repair was progressing and ensured I was comfortable during my wait.
Garage was very busy with booked in vehicles so it took two days for repair to be complete.

I forgot my car needed first MOT. Not only did Fairbairn squeeze me in at short notice did a brake fluid replacement at same time saving a further visit. First class!

It was called a service, however, it was an MOT the vehicle was in for.On the day, due to a heavy schedule, the vehicle was handed back washed and hovered, however, it was not of the high standard expected.
Everything went to plan as usual
Do not, personally, have high opinion of Harry Fairbairn, Irvine.
Overall very good, only area for improvement is that the locking wheel nut utilised for brake service was left in the centre console and not returned to wherever the engineer first found it (I have no idea where it belongs)

Our car was returned to us very dirty and the mileage and time it took to be returned to our house didnt seem to add up ,we feel our car was used for a delivery or something else.We were not happy about this and phoned to Irvine to complain.

Good service, some questions went unanswered eg we had enquired about a 1 series and larger fuel tank but never received an answer to this (plan had been to consider test drive of this as well as the X2)
We hadnt planned to buy however Fraser was so professional and passionate about the BMW brand and all it had to offer that we had made up our minds and purchased straight after our test drive, he is a real credit to yourbteam.
